FAQ

Why not just the midpoint?

The middle of the map is often an ocean or a place without flights. We only suggest airports you can both fly to — directly, or with one stop if you allow it.

Why no prices yet?

We’re starting with where you can meet and how long each trip is. Real prices and flight times are coming; until then, "See flights" opens a flight search for each of you.

What does the balance number mean?

It is the shorter trip divided by the longer one: 100% means you both travel the same time, 50% means one of you travels twice as long. Both people’s hours are always shown next to it.

Where does the data come from?

From Wikipedia’s airport route tables and Wikidata, checked and refreshed regularly, plus OurAirports for airport details. Each result shows the date of its data and links to its source.

Do you show trips with a stop?

Yes, if you choose "Allow 1 stop". We show where you’d change planes (e.g. "via Toronto"). We don’t know timetables yet, so check the connection times when you book.

Can three or more people use it?

Not yet — it’s on our roadmap.

Is it free?

Yes.

Do you sell tickets?

No. We help you choose where to meet; you book wherever you like.
